So as some of you know that I work in the Food Supplement Industry. I’m not going into detail what I do but, I’ll definitely share what I know.
Jarrow Formulas, Inc. used to manufacture a vitamin called BioSil. It claimed to help strengthen Collagen, Bones, & Joints while beautifying ones Hair, Skin, & Nails. It came in a liquid form that you’d squeeze (10 drops) into an empty capsule, the Silicon in this was really potent that it smelled like fish…yikes. Apparently, it does work, if used religiously. I once even heard that this lady directly applied this into her hair (YUCK) and swore it worked to grow hair (there has yet any scientific studies to confirm this).
Jarrow Formulas ended their contract with the raw material supplier and developed their own Silicon called JarroSil. What I heard about this new formula is that it doesn’t smell and it takes longer to absorb in your system vs. the old BioSil, but with the same effects. Hmmm.
One of the upside working in this Industry is the free samples. I still have about 6 bottles of the old BioSil at home. I’ve been taking it everyday due to my receding hairline *frown smiley*. It’s been a month since I’ve started and I definitely seen a difference. My nails are harder to cut, my skin isn’t as dry, and my hair has definitely gotten stronger. I’ll definitely try the new formula once I run out; hopefully it works as good as the old. We’ll see…
